Report: Visit Edo-Tokyo Open-air Architectural Museum & Cherry Blossom Party

On April 5th, we held a tour of the “Edo-Tokyo Open-air Architectural Museum” and a cherry blossom (Ohanami) party at Koganei Park. The event was attended by 9 international residents and 11 staff members.

The historical buildings from the Edo, Meiji, and Taisho eras were very popular among the participants, as many felt a sense of familiarity with them through Japanese anime. Although it was a cloudy day, the weather was warm enough to break a slight sweat. We sat in a circle under the trees, enjoyed snacks, introduced ourselves, and chatted with staff members. The rock-paper-scissors (Jan-ken) tournament was a big hit and everyone had a great time!
