On Sunday, October 4th, “The 15th Nishitokyo Japanese Speech Contest 2026” was held at J:COM Call Tanashi.
The event featured 11 speech contestants, as well as messages presented by 3 elementary and junior high school students from our Children’s Japanese Class. The presentations were evaluated by 5 resident judges and 3 special judges, and around 150 audience members attended to support the speakers.
Following the contest, nearly 100 people joined the post-event networking party, bringing the entire event to a warm and successful conclusion. In our attendee survey, we received heartwarming feedback such as, “It was a truly inspiring and touching afternoon. I hope this event continues in the future.”
Thank you very much to everyone who attended and supported the event!
