On March 20th, the Vernal Equinox Day, we held an event in Koganei Park to visit the Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum and enjoy a cherry blossom picnic.
The weather was calm and sunny. A total of 11 international participants joined, including some who joined on the day.
Together with NIMIC staff and volunteer guides from the museum, we explored many historical buildings from the Edo to Showa periods.
After the tour, we gathered near the museum to enjoy beautiful early-blooming cherry blossoms called “Tairyo-zakura.” We had fun doing a quiz about the museum and chatting with each other.
