Dispatch of foreign language interpreter volunteers – On consignment –

What is this activity?

  • We dispatch interpreters free of charge for up to 2 hours for foreign residents with Japanese language difficulties.
  • The service is used for infant medical checkups, personal interviews at elementary and junior high schools in the city, and admission interviews at nursery schools and kindergartens. Interpreters are not dispatched for medical services.  

Past results

We have dispatched about 25 interpreters every year.
