Pre-elementary school admission briefings for parents from abroad  – NPO Nishitokyo Multicultural and International Center

Pre-elementary school admission briefings for parents from abroad – Joint organizer –

What is this activity?

We introduce pre-entrance procedures and equipment used at school so that parents from foreign countries who are unfamiliar with Japanese elementary schools can prepare for school without anxiety.

Explanations are provided in easy Japanese, and participants can ask questions in Chinese, English, or Korean.

We hold online briefings in September and January. Main topics include:

  • September: Lifestyle (preparation, school life, after-school care, etc.)
  • January: School supplies (individual skills to master before school entry, supplies, entrance ceremony, Japanese classes for children, etc.)

We hold online briefings in September and January.
